This is the way the latest Rolls-Royce Spectre or Ferrari Purosangue crossover was brought to the Russian Federation.
From February 24, 2022 to July 31, 2023, 763 Mercedes-Benz, 49 Maybach, 32 Bentley and 27 Lamborghini were imported. Of course, such a scheme significantly increases the cost of a car. For example, Rolls-Royce Phantom has doubled and cost $ 1. 3 million, although Russian billionaires do not stop. Two such cars were bought in 2022-2023 the wife of the sub-oligarch Andriy Gurev. The fact is that, unlike her husband, she did not get to the sanction list.
Another sub-oligarch Dmitry Pumpyansky purchased an armored Mercedes-Maybach S-Class 2023 for 700,000 euros. And a whole fleet appeared in Ramzana Kadyrov: a few new Mercedes S-Class, including the armored Guard (at its numbers, the Lada Priora, GLS crossover, and the Mercedes EQS electric car is in the base. Moreover, expensive cars are imported for power structures - for example, the FSB received new Toyota Land Cruiser 300. New Mercedes and Maybach purchased a state -owned Gazprombank.
