According to him, the Russian Federation is taking the same measures: for about a month, all SIM cards of other countries have not been provided with data transmission services when registering in Russia, but only calls for 24 hours. Russia is also discussing a similar rule for SIM cards that have not been online for more than 72 hours.
According to him, Russia is afraid of a repetition of Operation "Spider", when hundreds of drones controlled via LTE attacked military facilities. As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted draft law No. 12094, which aims to improve the quality of mobile communications and ensure a stable Internet for all citizens. The law sets new speed standards and creates conditions for networks to remain resilient even during emergencies.
