The cost of "Kush Project" is estimated at more than $ 2. 5 billion. The whole program is not aimed at creating a three -tier missile air defense system for 150, 250 and 350 km.
The military wants the new anti-aircraft missile complex to be arrived in 2028-2029. It is noted that India already has experience in the creation of air defense. In particular, Barak-8 of the average radius developed in cooperation with Israeli companies Israel Aerospace and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. It has a radius of action up to 70 km. The authors also point out that the characteristics of a new complex of large radius will be very similar to the Russian S-400 "Triumph".
