Russian sources claim that Prometheus has intercepted the Ballistic R-29RMU2 "Sineva", which is allegedly capable of evading traditional systems about. Russian propagandists claim that the results of a series of tests, the anti-aircraft missile systems of the latest generation of C-500 "Prometheus" demonstrated their ability to intercepite and destroy "hypersonic goals".

During the final test of February 22, C-500 allegedly successfully intercepted the intercontinental ballistic missile of the P-29RMU2 "Sineva", which was launched by the underwater atomic rocket cruiser "Tula" from the Laptev Sea. About it reports Army Recognition. Viewers write that the intercepted Sineva missile is known for its high speed, maneuverability and ability to evade traditional anti -missile defense systems.

"Successful interception of the Sineva rocket - analogue of hypersonic goals - emphasizes the potential of" Prometheus "in terms of significant increased air defense opportunities," the authors of the material say. Thus, after the end of the final tests, the newest Russian complex C-500 "Prometheus" will be deployed in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as previously stated by the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country.

The S-500 SCR was developed by the Russian Military-Industrial Concern "Diamond Antai". It was officially announced in the late 2000s. The creation of such a system is conditioned by the desire to have a weapon that is able to intercept ballistic missiles, planes and potentially hypersonic goals. Thus, the C-500 is intended to combat all types of supersonic goals, including strategic bombers, winged and ballistic missiles.

The maximum range of rockets 77H6-H and 77H6-H1 is 600 kilometers and the height is up to 200 kilometers. Thus, if you believe in the stated characteristics, Prometheus is able to intercept the goals both in the atmosphere and beyond. The complex combines "advanced radar technologies and command control capabilities, providing the detection, tracking and damage of several goals at the same time, including stealth-frames and missiles using technologies for evasion.

" The material emphasizes that the interceptors are allegedly capable of affecting air goals that fly at a speed of 5 strokes (more than 6 thousand km/h). This is possible due to the combination of complex sensors and computing tools that calculate the real -time interception trajectory.
