The repatriation of Jews from Ukraine to Israel continues, despite the fact that this procedure has been stopped from the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky in a comment to the Country on October 24. According to him, lately "no changes" and repatriation is ongoing.

Later, the journalists asked him whether they were interested now, in the conditions of war in both countries, for repatriation from Ukraine. "Does anyone come these days? It is unlikely," Michael Brodsky said. The main rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Asman did not comment on the likelihood of stop repatriation at the time of material publication.

On the eve of the Embassy of Israel in the Russian Federation, they told reporters that the repatriation department in Moscow suspended the reception of Russians who would like to go to the PMP to Israel until October 27. At the same time, the Consular Department of the Embassy continues to work unchanged. Russia's main rabbi Adolf Shayevich also confirmed this news in a comment to reporters, but for what term the repatriation procedure is suspended is unknown.

"Yesterday, the Israel Ambassador communicated with many [representatives of the Jewish community in Russia] in Zoom. I also participated. I do not accept statements, does not accept people, stopped people, stopped receiving applications for the PMP for some time," said Adolf Shayevich. At the same time, those who have already received permission can fly quietly to Israel, as planes continue to operate daily, although the country is not very safe.

One of the reasons that this happens is the situation in Israel. Many citizens went to fight, so bureaucratic structures could reduce their activities.
