Estonia was extradited to the United States by a Russian smuggler and a weapon trade

The smuggler has established the operation of the network of heaters. US firms allegedly purchased weapons in the United States, and other intermediaries transported it to Russia. The Ministry of Justice of Estonia reported that they had extracted to the United States a Russian citizen Vadim Konoschenko. It is stated that it is an employee of Russian special services who were engaged in smuggling of weapons. Information with extradition details is published on the website of the department.

The post states that the Russian is suspected of dual -use electronics and ammunition from the United States to the Russian Federation. It is also noted that on July 14, he will stand in a court in the United States, which will consider all the details of the case of the suspect. According to the results of the investigation of US law enforcement officers, Konoschenko was a key figure in adjusting the criminal scheme. Together with the accomplices, he operated through a number of false companies.

On the Russian side, two companies operated - Series Engineering LLC and Certal LLC - at one time they were on the US sanction list. There were contacts with other companies abroad - a minimum of one Estonian firm Stonebridge Resources is called. The material does not specify how many weapons were imported. It is only stated that there were "hundreds of thousands of ammunition".

There are also several smuggling positions that he transported: in one of the intercepted correspondence, the smuggler said which reward received for his crimes - 10% of the value of the goods. During the "voyage", through Estonia, a man was detained according to the arrest warrant issued by the US Department of Justice. Investigators monitor the activities of the person and have evidence that he is an employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

Evidence is information from his phone, where some contacts have the FSB console. His correspondence also came from the domain of the Russian special service ("FSB. RF"). If it is proven that Vadim Konoschenko really was engaged in smuggling of weapons, he will be in prison for up to 30 years. It should be noted that in February 2022, The Insider devoted the material to Russian smugglers.

The material is named after the names of the accomplices: Alexei Bryman, Vadim Yermolenko, Yevgeny Greenin, Alexei Ipolitov, Boris Livshits, Svetlana Skvortsov. In the United States, Boris Livshitz operated - he opened a number of false American companies, bought American weapons through them, and then Konoschenko found ways to send it to the Russian Federation.

We would like to remind you that on May 19, a smuggler was detained, who delivered equipment to the Russian Federation for working with artificial intelligence technologies and quantum calculations. The smuggler is a citizen of Greece who managed to receive a prestigious award from NATO and simultaneously cooperated with Putin's regime. Meanwhile, Russia is smuggling not only weapons but also oil.
