Breakdown of MRAP Supply by the Armed Forces Germany: Canadian manufacturer proposed a quick exit - Bild

Roshel promises a price of less than 375,000 euros for one car, while the German company FFG calls the estimated price of 787 500 euros. The Canadian manufacturer of armored personnel carriers suggested that the government of Germany transfer hundreds of machines for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It happened after German media reported that Germany had disrupted the supply of Ukraine by MRAP because of a license restriction on exports from the United States to Germany, as well as problems with certification of mine protection. Bild writes about it. According to the newspaper, after the release of the material, the head of the Canadian company Roshel Roman Shimonov addressed the editorial office.

"Having read your recent article on current purchases of equipment by the German Ministry of Defense, I considered it necessary to convey information about our MRAP machines, which, in my opinion, is a much better alternative. We can promise the most competitive prices," his letter reads. The company director noted that they are ready to put 100 MRAP armored vehicles in Ukraine in the near future and at a much cheaper price than the German manufacturer.

"Roshel promises a price of less than 375,000 euros for one car, while the German company FFG calls the estimated price of 787 500 euros. Shimonov claims that Roshel now produces 140 cars a month, that is, all promised by Germany 400 armored personnel carriers can be delivered this year," - writes Bild. It is noted that the Canadian company has all the notes, and its armored personnel carriers are already used in Ukraine.

"Roshel has already successfully put more than 1000 APC and MRAP in Ukraine, with all deliveries made on time or with a advance of the schedule," Shimonov said. Bild submitted a proposal to the head of the German Ministry of Defense. So far, they have not commented their consent to the purchase of Canadian armored vehicles. We will remind that Germany called on partners to find air defense systems to transfer them to Ukraine immediately.
