Another 14 meetings were held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on February 13-14: with partners in the Berlin format, Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Mertz, President of Finland Alexander Stubb, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Har Stere, The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, American senators, heads of international investment companies and the Crown Prince of Iran in exile Reza Pahlavi.
In Germany, the Head of State also visited the first German-Ukrainian joint venture, which produces drones for the Ukrainian army, and accepted the first drone manufactured there. Ukraine plans to open ten such joint ventures for the production of Ukrainian drones by the end of the year. In addition, the President received the Ewald von Kleist Award, which this year was awarded to the Ukrainian people. This is an annual award given by the organizers of the Munich Security Conference since 2009.

During the meeting in Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Ursula von der Leyen agreed on the participation of the European Commission in the implementation of the renewed energy strategy of Ukraine - restoration of the energy industry and restructuring of the system. The President of the European Commission also announced a new energy plan: Repair, Rebuild, Restart, which will provide for a package of 920 million euros to stabilize the energy system of Ukraine.
In February, the Head of State held 11 phone conversations: with US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, new Dutch Prime Minister Rob Yetten, Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fizo and two conversations each with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and representatives of the US President Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Participation in international events and meetings: February 14 - the Munich Security Conference, February 24 - a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing with the participation of 36 countries in offline and online format, the Ukraine - Northern European and Baltic countries summit and an address to the European Parliament, February 26 - the first meeting of the International Advisory Group, which will attract investments for Ukraine and develop priority sectors of the economy.
Two rounds of meetings of the Ukrainian, American and Russian delegations took place last month: February 4-5 in Abu Dhabi and February 17-18 in Geneva. The most important result is the return home of 157 Ukrainians, most of whom have been in captivity since 2022. In February, it was possible to return part of the Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia. Thus, the total number of returned children within the framework of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative reached 2 thousand.
In connection with the events in the Middle East and the Gulf region, the Head of State noted that it is fair to give the Iranian people a chance to get rid of the terrorist regime, as well as guarantee the safety of all peoples who suffered from terror originating from Iran. "It is important to save as many lives as possible. It is important not to allow the expansion of the war. Importantly, the United States is determined. And whenever there is American resolve, global criminals weaken.
The corresponding understanding should come to the Russians as well," Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.
