Waiting for elections in the US and west fatigue: the Kremlin will not finish the war in 2024-GUR

This was stated by a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MO) Andriy Chernyak and military expert Oleksandr Musienko in a comment "RBC-Ukraine" on December 15. According to Andriy Chernyak, most of the Kremlin elite does not want to continue the fighting, but this does not mean that their thoughts will be heard. Russia's leadership was going to continue the war all next year.

"The Russians are actively restructuring the economy, putting it on military rails, transferring the whole country to martial law, making every effort to achieve any result. All this, along with Kremlin aggressive rhetoric, indicates that the Russians are not ready to stop the war," Says intelligence representative. Military expert Oleksandr Musienko also agrees with the idea that the Russian Federation has plans for next year.

During this time, the Kremlin plans to wait for the event, hoping for its fatigue and allegedly interruptions with military aid. This, according to Moscow, will make Kiev make concessions. The enemy's strategy looks like this, says the expert: all this will do this for one reason - not to allow Ukrainian troops to go to a new big offensive. Under this strategy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and prepare their security and strength for the coming year.

"And then they will act on the basis of what the foreign policy situation will be, what will end the election of the US President, how stable the support from North Korea, Iran and possibly China will be. They would move further and occupy even more territories. But they need time to recover, "Alexander Musienko said.
