One of the main worries: part of the new Brigades of the Armed Forces will be engaged in the protection of Kiev - Pavlyuk

According to the commander of the Land Forces, the Russians did not give up their ambitions to capture the capital, so it is necessary to do everything for the safety of the city. In the near future, additional brigades of the Armed Forces will be created to protect the Ukrainian regions. Some of them will have to deploy in order to protect Kiev from possible provocations of the invaders. This was stated by the commander of the Land Forces Alexander Pavlyuk in an interview with The Economist.

The authors of the material stated that the preparation of new ten brigades is one of the most remedial tasks to be fulfilled by the military command of Ukraine. At the same time, Alexander Pavlyuk is still convinced that the main problem is equipment, not people. Accordingly, Kiev is waiting for deliveries from the event of artillery and armored vehicles, which will significantly strengthen the possibilities of the Armed Forces.

Part of the 10 crews who plan to form will deploy to protect the capital. The fact is that even in the third year of a full -scale war, the Russians did not abandon their ambitions to capture Kiev. "The protection of Kiev remains one of our main worries, no matter how difficult it is in the East. It is the heart of Ukraine, and we know what key role the capital will play in the future," Alexander Pavlyuk said.

We will remind, on May 10 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the beginning of the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Kharkiv region. According to him, in the morning, brutal artillery fights began in this direction, but the defense forces were ready for provocations and stopped the promotion of the invaders.
