The Ministry of Defense created a special structure for the integration of the F-16 into the Armed Forces system

According to Deputy Minister of Defense Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the purpose of the program is to organize a comprehensive support for the continuous process of integration of the multi-purpose F-16 aircraft into the general defense forces of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has created a special unit for integration and use of F-16 aircraft, known as "Office-61", which includes a number of stages of deployment and covers several areas of activity.

This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk on Facebook. "Participated in a conference with the participation of Western partners in Copenhagen (Denmark), where he presented the concept of" office-61 "-specially created under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the main purpose of which is to organize a comprehensive support Defense of Ukraine, "he said.

The General added that the process of implementation of the Office-61 program will be carried out in two stages: the main areas of work "Office-61" will be: Recall that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on November 15 about the departure of Ukrainian pilots for training missions at F-16 fighters. Training is conducted by "minimal" groups.
