According to the Polish edition of PAP, the resolution also calls for the international community to support the International Criminal Court (ICS) in the investigation of persons who are guilty of crimes in Ukraine. The Senate resolution emphasizes that on February 24, 2022, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation resolved a brutal war with Ukraine aimed at erasing a sovereign state from the map and destroying the Ukrainian nation.

"Heroic protection by Ukrainian citizens of independence of its country has caused the admiration of the whole free world. Ukraine is the most important place today, where they protect democracy and freedom," the document reads. The resolution emphasized that President Vladimir Putin and his apparatus returned to the cruel practice of Stalin and Hitler's regimes.

This is evidenced by the actions of the Russian occupation troops, which strike in kindergartens, schools, theaters and residential quarters of cities, terrorizing Ukrainian citizens. "The Polish Senate once again condemns Russian aggression and calls on all countries that advocate for peace, democracy and human rights, recognize the government of the Russian Federation with a terrorist regime," the resolution reads.

The document states that Russian aggression in Ukraine should be clearly convicted as a major threat to international peace and security.
