We appreciate the significant contribution of Iceland to the creation of international mechanisms for holding responsibility for Russia's crimes in Ukraine - Igor Zhovkva

Igor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, conducted a video conference with the newly appointed foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Iceland Andri Lutheson. Igor Zhovkva thanked Iceland for the help provided to Ukraine during the full -scale Russian invasion. He emphasized separately on the importance of effective implementation of the bilateral security agreement and noted the efforts to create a special tribunal and the International Register of Losses.

"We appreciate the significant contribution of Iceland to the creation of international mechanisms for holding responsibility for Russia's crimes in Ukraine," - said the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office. Igor Zhovkva and Andri Lutheson discussed international efforts to implement the formula of peace and coordinated actions to attract more global South countries.
