Heads of British weapons and military equipment have already visited Kiev for the purpose of discussing the creation of joint ventures in the territory of Ukraine, which produces weapons and equipment under a license. According to one of the representatives of the British defense corner, such talks with Kiev are now conducting companies from other European countries, including France and Germany. But the United Kingdom wants to get ahead of them in this regard.

The British edition writes that any joint venture for weapons production can only be created after the approval of the Prime Minister of British Richa Snak. Given that Russia has repeatedly threatened the measures in response to the supply of weapons to Ukraine, the implementation of this project can lead to aggravation of the situation, writes The Telegraph.

The publication appealed to the UK Ministry of Defense, but they refused to explain something there, stating that industrial companies were doing it. Experts surveyed believe that such an agreement between the United Kingdom and Ukraine can significantly strengthen cooperation between the two countries to a level that has never been. The decision to produce British weapons in Ukraine may bring Kiev closer to NATO accession, experts say.

According to the newspaper, despite the fact that Kiev has applied for NATO entry, it is unlikely to be approved until the war with Russia. In this case, the Alliance will have to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression. According to experts, Ukraine already has the experience of producing some types of weapons of the USA and Israel under a license. Experts suggest that Ukraine wants to produce Western artillery, vehicles and other weapons in its territory.

At the same time, military experts say that such enterprises for the production of weapons of the Western design will immediately become a goal for the task of strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the publication, the creation of joint military enterprises will help to end Kiev's dependence on the supply of weapons from the West.
