The Armed Forces captured the latest modernization of SAU MST-CM2 during the offensive in Kharkiv (video)

Modernization came to the series 10 years ago. The installation was equipped with a new fire control system and digital guidance. In the process of offensive actions of the Ukrainian army in the Kharkiv region, the Fighters of the Armed Forces captured the latest modification of the Russian SAU MSTA-SM2. This was reported by Ukraine Weapons Tracker analysts. The fighters captured 152mm self-propelled article.

According to analysts, the equipment was obtained during a counter -offensive in Kharkiv region. MSTA-CM2 is the last modification of the MSTA SAU. The MSTA-CM2 has received an automatic fire control system, a high speed and digital guidance. It was made in 2021. In addition to the new systems, she received another 2A64m2 tool instead of 2A64. The stated firing rate is 10 shots per minute, not 7-8 as a basic vessel. However, the shooting range has not changed.
