Mobilized Russians are actually used as a living shield. There are a large number of mines in the territory, so this factor complicates promotion. In the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, on July 4, details of the situation in the Bakhmut direction were reported.
Ukrainian defenders under the dense fire of artillery and aviation were successfully repelled by 9 enemy attacks in the districts of Bogdanivka, Grigorivka, west of Yagidny, Ivanivsky and southeast White Mountain in the Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Vasyukivka, Predict, Yar, Bogdanivka and Klyshchiyivka, Donetsk region, were affected by hostile artillery shelling.
We will remind, on July 4 in the eastern group of troops explained that the defeat of Russian troops in the battle for Bakhmut can seriously undermine their moral state and cause destabilization in the occupation forces. The enemy actively holds control over Bakhmut and is ready to attract significant forces to protect this district center.
