Such calculations were made by the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office (OP) Mikhail Podolyak in an interview with RBC-Ukraine. The significant destruction of the Russian economy and blows on important objects, in his opinion, will increase panic in society. All these things will have quite quick consequences.

"In parallel for 6-8 months, the Russian economy and 3-4 months-the increase of blows deep into the Russian Federation. Then we can see everything differently this year," Podolyak described. It should be noted that Podolyak does not forecast the collapse of Russia for the first time. In August 2024, he wrote about the rapid fall of the Russian Federation "in the foreseeable future" due to the consequences of invasion of Ukraine.
