Ukraine is not afraid of Russia and is ready to fight for years even with great losses - Chmut (video)

Volunteer Taras Chmut stated that it is impossible to defeat the Russian Federation in passive defense, so it is necessary to develop land offensive operations. Ukraine is not afraid of strong and powerful Russia, ready to fight for years even with great losses. In an interview with TSN, this opinion was expressed by the ATO veteran, the head of the Foundation "Come back alive" Taras Chmut. Taras Chmut said that in February 2022, no one expected miracles from the Ukrainians.

In March, the state did not make concessions to the occupiers and did not surrender. "We are not a country that is afraid of strong and powerful Russia. We are ready to fight for many years, with big losses, but are ready," he explained. The volunteer emphasized that Ukraine cannot defeat Russia by applying its tactics and attacking its positions directly.

In his opinion, Kiev should carry out bolder operations, not sit still, and cited an example of offensive actions, as it happened in the area of Kherson region. He also added that such operations cannot last for months. In his opinion, as soon as one of the parties created a bridgehead - it should develop it. Taras Chmut drew attention to the fact that Russia, which has almost 150 million population, could not be defeated in passive defense.

According to the expert, if they seized the bridgehead, it is necessary to develop a conditional land offensive operation. We will remind, on April 11, Chmut stated that mobilization in Ukraine should be 20 years old. The volunteer emphasized that without further reduction of conscription age, the internal reserve in order to complete the parts at least to the level of 80%, it will not be possible to find. He drew attention to the risk of losing the state through the call policy that exists now.
