Suicide of Russia. What became Putin's fatal miscalculation

Diaan Francis editor of the Canadian National Post, Senior Researcher atlantic Council Putin never realized that excessive dependence was working in both directions: Europeans needed his oil and gas, and he, instead, relied entirely on their market. What is waiting for the Russian Federation now? History will prove that Vladimir Putin's fatal miscalculation was his confidence that Europe would bend if it invades Ukraine because of its excessive dependence on Russian energy. But that didn't happen.

He also did not realize that excessive dependence was working on both sides: Europeans needed his oil and gas, and he, instead, relied entirely on their market. In other words, Putin should leave his imperial ambitions in the West until he diversified his client base and built pipelines and factories for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the east for export to China, the world's largest energy in the world.

Instead, he invaded Ukraine and then blackmailed and offended the rest of Europe, which forced it to look for new suppliers and alternative energy sources. It is easier for Europe to find new suppliers, but Russia is unable to replace Europe with new consumers. Putin also fails on the battlefield. Ukrainians are robustly resist with the help of a fire. Consider the situation: Putin has forever pushed Europe. Even if it receives Ukraine, it will be devastated and unmanaged.

The Russian army is weakened. Its economy does not have the future without the purchase of oil and gas in Europe in the absence of the China market. The European Union and the United Kingdom impose sanctions and promise to cease to rely on Russian oil, gas and coal. Energy and food are the source of the vitality of the economy, and the Putin will never be forgotten.
