War "feeds" Russia: Putin will not go to peace in Ukraine because of domestic political problems - Bild

To spread: a truce in Ukraine threatens President of Russian Vladimir Putin with serious problems. Important sectors of the economy are in crisis, and veterans-occupants provoke a burst of crime. The script is inevitable, because the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation did not reach their military goals in Ukraine, the sources of the German tabloid Bild reported.

Russia's defense industry is swollen with huge cash investments and hundreds of thousands of Russians earn big money in the war in Ukraine. "All this complicates the path to compromise for Putin," the material authors say. Another important point is that Russia's economy is generally weakened, and if you consider the dynamics of industrial production without sectors with a predominant share of the defense-industrial complex, it is worth talking about a close recession.

The fall in the indicators show many industries: the production of food, coal, building materials, metal products and mechanical engineering. The military industry, meanwhile, is "masking", Western economists said.

However, the conviction of the collapse of the Russian Security Service of Ukraine after the end of the war in Ukraine is exaggerated, says the expert of the Center "Carnegie" on the study of the Russian Federation and Eurasia Alexander Prokopenko, who worked at the Central Bank of Russia by 2022. "The end of the war will not affect the military industry of the Russian Federation. The sector will continue to benefit from state needs," she added.

At the same time, the main opponents of Russia, NATO and the EU, are actively discussing the increase in military expenditures. In such circumstances, Putin is politically unacceptable to reduce the costs of the defense industry. After the fighting is completed, veterans of war will be a separate threat to Putin. Many of those who have returned from the front will become sources of social instability, especially in low -living regions.

Those who went to the front voluntarily received a salary from the state that exceeds the average in the Russian Federation several times. Over -40,000 euros remained disposable bonuses for concluding a contract, says Margaret Klein, an expert from Russia at the Institute of International Relations and Security. Moscow should also provide an economic future to Ukraine's military invasion, otherwise the risks of a wave of crimes will increase in the country.
