In support of the army: France will additionally allocate € 200 million for Ukraine

According to the French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorton, the war in Ukraine is a conflict from which Paris should not turn away. Highlighting will allow France to buy new equipment for the Armed Forces. The French government plans to provide an additional 200 million euros to support Ukraine and its army. This was reported by French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorton during a speech before the National Assembly, quotes Franceinfo.

"You have voted in a amendment committee that opens an additional 200 million euros for the Ukraine support fund," the message reads. According to the Minister's statement, this additional appropriation is part of the planned changes in the financial bill, which provides for the adjustment of budget investments for the current financial year and should be considered on Wednesday.
