Rescue from drones and art: As a schoolboy collects powerful charging stations for the Armed Forces (video)

The device worth 15,000 UAH charges phones, radios, nourishes Starlink terminals directly in Ukrainian positions, without opening them to the occupiers. Ukrainian schoolboy Dmitry Slobodianik from Kryzhopol in Vinnytsia region has collected three charging stations and dozens of returns, which very much assist the military in the front line for seven months. He showed his work and shared the details with the correspondent of "Public".

From the beginning of a full-scale war, 16-year-old Dmitry Slobodian made periscopes and candles for the Defense Forces of Ukraine, but later mastered more complex battery technology. The young man found all the necessary information on the Internet and organized a workshop in the summer kitchen, inviting his friend Vladislav Tsegelny - he helps to solder the chips and wires, as well as cut out covers for returns.

For charging stations, Dmitry Slobodianik makes strong metal boxes for cartridges and batteries with a capacity of 1500 W/h. They are equipped with three sockets of 220 watts, where you can connect devices up to 1 kW, as well as eight USB (12 V) connectors with the support of Quick Charge 3. 0 fast charging technology and charge level indicators. Each charging station is completely protected from water, all connectors are equipped with special rubber plugs, so they can be used even during rain.

Inside also there is a BMS inverter and board for leveling charging and discharge of batteries. "At a time, it can charge 8 phones with a fast charging - it's a very cool figure. And, say, three Starlink terminals connect, or ray, Bulgarian. " Charging stations from Dmitry Slobodianik already actively use the 59th and 24th Brigade of the Armed Forces.

Serviceman Volodymyr Sasin says that they are very helpful in remote positions, where it is dangerous to launch generators - the enemy can hear the sound of their work, and then send drones and fired with artillery. "The station is silent, the same as the generator, it is quiet for five days - you can completely charge the radios. It is like a return, but big and powerful," he shared. Dmitry Slobodian himself declared "public" that one battery charge would be enough for 2-3 hours of "Bulgarian".

If you want to turn on the Starlink Satellite Internet, the terminal will work from the battery for about 16 hours. The assembly of one charging station in Dmitry and Vladislav takes about two weeks. In seven months, they made three such devices and about fifty returns with a capacity of 20,000 and 30,000 mAh. Other manufacturers sell models with the same capacity for about 40 thousand UAH, while Dmitry himself invests in 10-15 thousand UAH.
