"On the approach": the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can get new "lanceotes" that recognize goals and attack swarms

ISW analysts suggest that the Russian command wants to use new unmanned artificial intelligence to destroy the air defense systems of Ukraine. The Russian Federation creates a new modification of the lancet lancet barge with the function of artificial intelligence (AI) under the name "Izdelie-53". Alexander Kotz in his Telegram-channel wrote about it about it. The propagandist claims that the next version of the "Lancet" is already on the approach.

According to him, the new UAV will be able to find goals on its own, as well as to fulfill missions as part of the Drone swarm. At the same time, the American Institute of War Study (ISW) drew attention to the fact that in October last year, Russian sources wrote that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had already used "Izdelie-53" in the war against Ukraine.

According to the report of October 28, the Russians at that time stated that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation did not use these drones massively, but are already tested to cause massive synchronized blows. It was reported that "Izdelie-53" is equipped with an automatic guidance system that can distinguish between types of goals.

According to the assumption of ISW analysts, the Command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation expects that a large number of improved "lancets" will be able to "break the Ukrainian air defense". At the same time, the ISW doubts that this UAV is suitable for this purpose. "The useful load of" Izdelie-53 ", which is reported, is from three to five kilograms, is still insufficient to significantly damage most important military facilities,"-summed up in ISW.

We will remind, in November 2023 a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Andriy Yusov confirmed that on the front was noticed improved Russian UAVs under the name "Izdelie-53". According to the speaker, the ability of these UAVs to automatically adjust, guidance and recognize the goal is a discussion question.
