At the same time, the American Institute of War Study (ISW) drew attention to the fact that in October last year, Russian sources wrote that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had already used "Izdelie-53" in the war against Ukraine.

According to the report of October 28, the Russians at that time stated that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation did not use these drones massively, but are already tested to cause massive synchronized blows. It was reported that "Izdelie-53" is equipped with an automatic guidance system that can distinguish between types of goals.

According to the assumption of ISW analysts, the Command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation expects that a large number of improved "lancets" will be able to "break the Ukrainian air defense". At the same time, the ISW doubts that this UAV is suitable for this purpose.
