I will not clog the brains here with technical details, but this long -expected event will affect the course of our war. Until now, the smallest chips were created by 3 nm technology (65 nm in Russians), new microchips will be 15% faster and 30% more economical. This will not only allow you to create more productive smartphones and computers, but also make smarter drones.
After all, in essence, their FPV-the-traits of our war-whether radio-controlled on the radio, whether on the fiber, floating, swimming, crawling-these are remotely controlled apparatus. It is, in the honest one, not drones at all, not work. All various systems of automatic capture and support of goals, the completion of the target-do not convert FPV-punks into real robots. "Real" - can only be called long -range drones that are not managed by a person.
To transform the usual, mass FPV-Dron into a real autonomous drone-soldier on the battlefield, he needs to add brains. Today it is quite possible to make "brains" for drone, which will help him to find and identify goals in a given area, and attack them. Only such "brains" of kilograms of three to four will weigh with an additional battery, and will be very expensive - you will not put such brains on each drone. The transition to 2 nm partially solves this problem.
And this year the drones are noticeably "intelligent". In 2027, chips with a dimension of 1 nm will appear, in 2029-0. 7 nanometer. And this is probably the technological boundary for silicon -based technologies. And this will mean the decline of the era of mankind, because drones will become smarter than many people, especially those who today (like yesterday) do practically nothing to win our war tomorrow.
