Representatives of the United States for the first time participated in a meeting of the coalition. Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that now the main priority of Ukraine is the strengthening of air defense. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia wants to go to the use of thousands of drones during one attack. Ukraine has already found a decision against Russian drones - interceptors. That is why it is important to invest in their production.
The meeting was about continuing the supply of weapons from the United States and joint production of weapons. The President confirmed that Ukraine is ready to buy a large defense package in the United States. One of the main issues of discussion is to increase the sanction pressure on Russia, which, despite the huge losses, shows no desire to stop its aggression against Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the senators for a two -party bill to strengthen sanctions against Russia, which was supported by 85 senators. The President is convinced that his approval will be a significant lever of influence on the Russian Federation and will force the aggressor state to start real negotiations. It is also a pressure on those who continue to promote Russia in the conduct of its invaders.
