"More Bad News": Sociologists as residents of the event treat Vladimir Putin's concessions

The survey showed that most residents of the West support Ukraine and are not ready to make concessions of Russia. After almost eight months of the war of Vladimir Putin with Ukraine, the citizens of the main countries of the West do not support the concessions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, even if it finished the war. About it writes The Guardian.

The newspaper writes that the Project "YouGov-Cambridge", which evaluated public opinion in the 25 largest countries of the world, has also found strong support in conservation, and often strengthening and expanding military and economic measures against Moscow. Joel Rogers de Vaal, the Academic Director of Youugov said it was an international consensus. "If Putin is counting on the weakening of the West, this study provides even more bad news for his besieged military campaign," he said.

Journalists write that a survey conducted from August 24 to September 22 showed that from 13 Western or English -speaking countries - France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Great Britain, USA, Australia and Canada - 10 supported the preservation of economic sanctions on Russia.

Supporting sanctions ranged from 57% or 58% in France and Germany to 60%, 62% and 65% in Canada, the United States and Poland and to more than 70% in the United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark. The publication writes that many Western voters were ready to pay for it a certain price: about half or more - 66% in Denmark, 63% in the United Kingdom - supported sanctions, even if it had led to an increase in their costs. It is also reported that Greece, Hungary and Italy were exceptions.

During the survey of the respondents asked if they would support different concessions to Moscow - the termination of sanctions, the sovereignty of Russia over the occupied territories of Ukraine. "I will surprise how much a low level of support for Russia's concessions," said Rogers de Vaal.

In addition to the event - the study also covered Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa - many other countries were noticeably pro -Russian. Earlier, Focus reported that the US and Ukraine are resolving the issue of financing the Starlink satellite network. Journalists write that the US is discussing how to solve funding. The reaction of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities also appeared.

We will also remind that the West plans in case of use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. The West believes that such a scenario of events is unlikely. However, if this happens, politicians do not want their countries to run from cities in panic. It was also reported that the Russian submarine was recorded in a surface position off the coast of France. French media reported that the submarine was accompanied by the French Navy courts. She was also gone to the meeting by patrol boats of Spain.
