Dmitry Pletenchuk, the head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the South Defense Forces, announced this on the air of the telecommunication. According to him, only this morning, April 30, there were two storms of Negreti, which is located in the area of ​​NP. Giant, but in all these cases, the invaders retreated with losses.

"In fact, it is the last island in front of the mouth of the river," the military explained, adding that it is very important for Ukraine to protect this island from sabotage groups of Russians. Prior to the assignment of the island, which was actually in the "gray zone", saboteurs could come there, which fired at mortars from the Kherson region. Also, the enemy in the area of ​​the enemy attempted to enter the rear of Ukrainian defenders.

Pletenchuk also said that the Russians tried to attack cribs. And the situation in the area remains difficult, but Ukrainian Marines continue to hold positions. At the same time, the OK "South" reported that during the day there was a confirmation of reduction of the number of personnel of the enemy by 179 people. Also, the enemy lost 18 units of weapons and military equipment: 1 tank, 1 mortar, 14 units of auto-bronze, 1 aerial station and 1 UAV.
