GUR responded to the investigation of Belgium on the use of their weapons in the Russian Federation

According to the spokesman of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov, the question should be addressed not to Kiev, but to Russian volunteers who operate autonomously in the territory of the Russian Federation.

On Monday, June 5, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO) believes that the question of the use of foreign weapons in the Russian Federation should be posed by the "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RDC) and the Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LSR). The statement made this statement in a comment to "Public" representative of GUR Andriy Yusov. "As far as they know, they have already commented on this.

The speaker said that representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDC) and the Legion "Freedom of Russia" operate on the territory of the Russian Federation autonomously. Earlier on the same day, Belgium Prime Minister Alexander de Kroo stated that Brussels intends to contact Kiev for explanations that the Belgian production rifles were used "Pro-Ukrainian forces to fight Russian troops" on the western border of Belgorod region Russia.

"Our Ministry of Defense and its intelligence services have started investigations and ask information to determine what happened," said de Croo. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received weapons from Western allies, provided that it will be used in the Ukrainian territory to protect the territory. Therefore, Brussels wants to make sure that these conditions are strictly observed.

We will remind, on June 3, the journalists of The Washington Post reported the presence of volunteers who attacked the border part of the Belgorod region from the territory of Ukraine, rifles of Belgian production, as well as weapons and equipment from the US and the Czech Republic.
