More than a hundred: the UN named the death of peaceful Ukrainians because of the war with the Russian Federation since the beginning of the year

According to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, 36 men, 21 women, three children and 44 adults were killed from January 1 to January 15 of this year. Basically, people were killed and injured through the use of an explosive weapons of a wide range of action and mines. In Ukraine, at least 104 civilians were killed in a full -scale war with Russia from 1 to January 15 of this year. This is stated in the report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UHLC).

Of the number killed, there were 36 men, 21 women, three children and 44 adults whose gender is established. In addition, 284 civilians were injured as a result of hostilities. Of these, 80 are men, 39 women and 10 children, the UN. For the most part, people died and were injured from an explosive weapon of broad -spectrum (97%) and mines (3%), experts specified. Of the total number of 95 killed and 254 wounded were recorded in 58 settlements under the control of the Government of Ukraine.

In the occupied areas of Lugansk and Donetsk regions of the UKRL established the death of 9 people and 30 wounded. Since the beginning of a full -scale Russian invasion by January 15, 2023, 8,358 civilians have been charged in Ukraine. Among them - 7031 killed and 1327 wounded. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation killed 2784 men, 1875 women, 177 girls and 221 boys, as well as 35 children and 1939 adults whose gender is found out.

In Donetsk and Luhansk regions there were 9 853 victims (4 102 killed and 5 751 wounded). In the territories controlled by Ukraine - 7 685 victims (3 607 killed and 4 078 wounded), in temporarily occupied territories 2 168 victims (495 killed and 1,673 wounded). Civilians suffered from the use of explosive weapons with a wide radius of lesions, including shelling of heavy artillery, rocket launchers, jet shells and aviation shocks.

Management believes that the real numbers of victims are much higher. Information from the places where active fighting was carried out, for example, in Mariupol, Izium, Lisichansk, Popasna and Severodonetsk, is delayed, and many data are awaited for confirmation. It should be reminded that the preliminary report on the victims of the Russian Federation with Ukraine was published on December 28 last year. It referred to 17,831 of the affected civilian through fighting.
