"It came out too handsome": Oleksiy Sukhanov told what he did with two Russian passports

Share: The TV presenter shared a funny but symbolic story about how he parted with his Russian documents. However, even though the passports are no longer valid, he cannot lose his Russian citizenship. In an interview with Alina Dorotiuk, Oleksiy told what he did with his Russian passports. According to him, he burned one document and drew an obscene gesture on the other. "I drew a huge f*k there, and I have it," Sukhanov admitted.

The presenter clarified that he cannot officially renounce his Russian citizenship, because he is in Ukraine, and he cannot go to Russia. "My Russian passport expired in 2023. I took a black marker and drew on the inside. I burned one passport and painted the other," he said. Sukhanov also added that he had two Russian passports because he often traveled abroad. "I'm sorry for my drawing - it turned out too beautiful," the presenter concluded.
