According to the plan, by 2030, the share of pure energy in the gross final consumption should reach 27%, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal. At the same time, the share of renewable sources will reach 27%: in heat and cold systems- 33%; in electricity production - 29%; In the transport sector - 17%, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine emphasized. It is planned that the production of "green" energy will increase to 44 thousand GWh by 2030.
Solar energy in the country is developing very quickly. Since the beginning of this year, the total capacity of solar power plants (SES) is 7. 3 GW, that is, almost 90% of the total capacity of all green energy facilities. The Government plans to increase this figure to 13. 5 thousand GWh by 2030. At the beginning of 2024, the capacity of wind power plants in Ukraine reached 512 MW (not including objects in the temporarily occupied territories).
During the period of full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, about 1. 4 GW was lost in Ukraine. However, by taking over the EU experience, our country can increase the generation of this type of energy to 17. 5 thousand GWh by 2030. The country also contains geothermal deposits suitable for electricity production. Given the current situation, conditions and potential, the increase of up to 210 GW*h by 2030 (with a total capacity of 40 MW) is projected.
The introduction of electric transport, the use of hydrogen and biomethane will also facilitate the country's transition to pure energy. The European Commission Plan for Russian gas refusal provides for 35 billion cubic meters of biomethane for a year until 2030. Ukraine can meet up to 20% of these needs, and the total potential for biogas/biomethane in the country is 21. 8 billion cubic meters per year.
According to the calculations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the possible volume of hydrogen production using wind and sun energy is about 45,000 tons of hydrogen per year. Earlier, we wrote that Ukraine had lost half of energy, and the EU spoke of the most difficult winter. Massive missile strokes of the Russian Federation on energy facilities have caused irreparable damage.
