The Armed Forces were folded: Bae Systems will not curtail BMP production Bradley

Executive Director Volume Arseno says that the war in Ukraine restores demand for weapons, especially for those that have been transferred to the Armed Forces. The war in Ukraine influences the production of weapons by Western companies. Bae Systems, for example, has refused plans to roll up the production of BMP M2 Bradley. This was reported by VOM Arseno CEO in a comment to Defense News.

On the eve of the Reigan National Defense Forum in California, Tom Arseno answered several questions of the journalists of the publication. According to him, Bae Systems is currently focused on replenishing the arms reserves that were handed over to Ukraine - from ammunition to combat vehicles. Also, older M113 samples, which were transferred to Ukraine in the amount of about 300 units, are replaced by newer samples.

Bae Systems also changes plans for the production of certain samples of equipment, such as BMP. "Bradley" is a few hundred Bradley combat vehicles that have been sent [to Ukraine]. And although we planned to curtail the production of "Bradley" over the next few years, we now have orders for hundreds of new cars, " - said Tom Arseno. The Executive Director emphasized that Ukrainians combine different types of technologies and integrate them as no one could predict This.
