Kazakhstan will not issue a shelter for Russians running away from mobilization

The Speaker of Parliament Malelen Ashbayev stated that Russian citizens would require documents with a permit to move from the Russian Federation to obtain a residence permit. In Kazakhstan, they stated that they would not provide residence permits for Russian citizens who flee from partial mobilization declared in the Russian Federation. This was stated by the Speaker of the Kazakh Parliament Maulelen Ashbayev, reports Radio Liberty.

According to him, the law enforcement and migration bodies of Kazakhstan work in accordance with the law and consider the requests of foreign citizens for the PMP in the country. However, the Russians will require documents with a permit to move from the Russian Federation. "Our official institutions will not issue a residence permit to persons who will not provide documents confirming that their citizenship countries have no objection to their move to Kazakhstan," he said.

Mowlen Ashbayev also stated that Kazakhstan's authorities were aware of a sharp increase in Russian citizens who have entered the country and are negotiating. We will remind, on September 21, after the announcement of Vladimir Putin about partial mobilization, thousands of Russians decided to leave the country, and queues were formed on the borders. Many citizens of the Russian Federation decided to escape from mobilization, trying to go to Finland, Georgia, Mongolia.

At the same time, Lithuania stated that they would not issue humanitarian visas to the Russians who want to avoid conscription. The country's authorities will also abolish the restrictions on the border crossing for Russian citizens with Schengen visas since September 19. The media reports that a secret decree of the Kremlin leader provides for a war in Ukraine up to 1 million Russian citizens.
