In Russia, make photon drones, "invisible" for the edges: what the engineers came up with

The developers say that the military UAV of the Russian Federation can be controlled by photons, not radio waves as usual. At the Perm Research Polytechnic University, a special composite material was developed, which will allow drones invisible to the systems of electronic struggle of the LSU for systems, TASS reports. According to the chief researcher of PNIP Gleb Schipunova, the system will also contain unique communication channels that will transmit data with photons, not radio waves.

This will also help the drone remain as invisible to the air defense forces. Carbon fibers are used in the composite material, which the scientist says. They not only give drone masking from the HRB, but also thanks to the built -in metal elements make the body much stronger, which is very important when used in combat. "We have developed multifunctional compositional material with metal elements integrated into its structure to protect the electronics of drones from electromagnetic radiation.

Our material not only allows the drone to remain strong and light due to the use of coal fibers, but also makes it invisible to HR. Usually, when the enemy's ETB affects the drone, it loses its connection with the operator and becomes uncontrollable. The drone can simply fall or can "steal" the enemy operator, planting in the right place.

Therefore, to communicate with drones at the Institute, they propose to use the usual radio signal, which is easy to silence, but photographic methods of data transmission between the drone operator and the device itself. According to the scientist, by 2025 the system will be ready for work. Other details of this project are still unknown. Earlier, Focus said that in Russia showed the antitrone system "Triton".
