Hide in Telegram and X: Facebook has found a network distributed

Russian propaganda "media" was advertised by the official authorities of the Russian Federation, which have representative offices on social networks, according to the META report. META has published a report that spoke about the accounts of accounts that participated in the special operations of the Russian Federation and China. In this regard, they had to close several thousand accounts on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp.

The current state of combating Russian and Chinese propaganda is referred to in a document published by META experts. The report stated that during November 2023, experts found three accounts of accounts that worked in the Russian Federation and China. Two of them acted in favor of the PRC, one in favor of Russia. At the same time, they did not have direct accusations against the United States, Ukraine, and Western countries policies in these networks.

Therefore, they were called "operations of hidden influence". Real information was distorted and published by counterfeit messages that mimic the real ones. The social network X, Telegram and Tiktok were used for distribution. As an illustration of the actions of fake accounts in the report, screenshots of several posts are presented. In one part of the image - the original post on the social network, in the other - a false message, which was published under the guise of a real.

There were about 6,000 fake "users" in the network of fake accounts that worked in favor of China: 1 thousand in one network, more than 4 thousand (4789) in the second. There were few participants in the Russian network, reports in the report: they indicate that a large number of "cleared" from the first invasion of the Russian Federation and now there are less. In November, they found six Facebook accounts, one page and three accounts on Instagram.

1 thousand users were monitored for each account, the researchers said. The accounts were English -speaking and imitated that they seemed to be a "media". At the same time, these "media" was based on Telegram, and were advertised by official accounts of Russian authorities on Facebook, X (previously Twitter) and YouTube.

The main topics covered in the pro -Russian network: the policy of Ukraine and the Armed Forces, "Russophobia", transgender rights, criticism of US President Joe Baiden and French President Emmanuel Macron. They also talked about Russia's positive activity in West Africa. Analysts cited the names of these fake "media" and posted what kind of Telegram, YouTube, X accounts work in the Russian network for the distribution of fakes.

Earlier, the Western media spoke about finding a network of fake accounts that spread false reports about events in Israel and the Gaza Sector. In particular, the posts on anti -Israeli speeches in France were analyzed - the same photos spread on sites and accounts that mimic the news sites. The following investigations showed that portals were created that repeated the design and style of the original media: Fox News, Le Monde, Der Spiegel and others.
