Zelenskaya calls for women to "join the Armed Forces": Russians spread a fake card (screenshot) in the network

The CPD stated that Russia is trying to discredit a mobilization campaign in Ukraine and personally the president's wife to undermine confidence in the Ukrainian authorities and to cause negative moods in society. Russian propaganda Telegram channels are spreading a fake card, at which the first lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska calls for women to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported at the Center for Combating Misinformation on Tuesday, August 20.

In the CPD, a postcard was called "another creation of Kremlin propagandists. " The Russians in this way try to make the impression that the first lady is allegedly involved in a mobilization campaign. There is no such "motivational campaign" on the official resources of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and on the pages of the department on social networks. There is also no information on the official pages of the Foundation of Elena Zelenskaya.

"This fake aims to discredit a mobilization campaign in Ukraine and personally the president's wife to undermine the trust in the Ukrainian authorities and to cause negative moods in society," the CPD said. In addition, it is another attempt by Russian propagandists to manipulate Elena Zelenskaya's interview, which she gave British Media Elceform Daily Mail and The Mail On Sunday.

The first lady, answering the question of her attitude to the proposals for territorial concessions for the truce, stated that "only people who have not lost nothing in this war and people who want to appease this cannibal and his monsters can offer it. . Earlier, Russian propaganda promoted the thesis of the former CIA employee Larry Johnson, who stated that the United States could consider a scenario of removal from the post of President Vladimir Zelensky.
