Due to the fluctuations in the US and Europe: Putin can believe in his victory again - the Foreign Minister of Lithuania

According to Lithuania Gabrielus Landsbergis, Putin, having seen discussions in Washington, the inability of Europe to move further in the issue of Ukraine's military support and increasing pressure on the Ukrainian forces at the front can start planning the attack again. Due to the uncertainty in the relations of Western allies on the continuation of Ukraine's support, Russian leader Vladimir Putin can return confidence in his position during hostilities.

This was announced to journalists by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielus Landsbergis before a meeting of foreign ministers of EU Member States, European Pravda reports.

"Now the situation looks like Putin is preparing to blow dust from his plans for Victory Day, which he put on a shelf for a while, but seeing discussions in Washington, the inability of Europe to move on to Ukraine's military support and increasing pressure on Ukrainian forces at the front , he thinks, he can now start planning again, "Landsbergis said.

The Minister expresses that "Europe was able to exert such pressure that the only victory in this war could be the day of liberation of Kiev, which would be celebrated by Ukrainians. " "But now, it seems, the situation is again uncertain. We have already demonstrated the ability to make very important decisions. Europe has already demonstrated leadership. Now is the time we have done it again," the Foreign Minister of Lithuania said. Landsbergis also opposed negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

"Any ceasefire, any negotiations is the way to the Victory Day in Moscow. Putin worked very actively on it. And such a day can come. A day when Ukrainians will not be able to fight further because we cannot give them weapons . . . It is impossible to "come in in the middle," he said. In his opinion, "if it comes to the ceasefire and we will try to turn it with the arguments that we defended Kiev, other Ukrainian territories - it will be clear that it is Putin's victory ".
