In Poland detained a Russian who escaped from the front to Europe: what is known

The Poles detained the Russian who fought in Ukraine but decided to become a deserter. The man was without weapons and escaped by the same channels that Belarusians set up illegal migrants from Africa and Asia. The Russian citizen illegally crossed the border of Belarus and Poland. It turned out that it was a military Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which used the illegal channel to escape from Russia to Europe.

The information on the detention of the Russian was confirmed by the press service of the Border Service of Poland in a post on the social network X (Twitter). The first notification of the detention of an illegal fugitive from Russia appeared at 6 am on May 8 on the portal of the Media RFM 24. It was indicated that the border guards found a 41-year-old Russian citizen who had military documents, was in civilian clothing and had no weapon.

According to the documents, the man concluded a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and participated in hostilities in Ukraine. Polish law enforcement officers started checking the detainee, journalists wrote. The border guards of the Podlask Voivodeship confirmed the media that really found an illegal fugitive from the Russian Federation. Later, at 9 am, the Official Comment on the Border Service of Poland was published on the Twitter network.

The post report that the 41-year-old Russian deserter was really detained. The detainee was not named. In addition, there are no photos or photographs of documents.
