Did not fly or explode: investigators told about 100 thousand defended mines of the Armed Forces (video)

The Armed Forces fighters published a video with examples of substandard mines in Ukrainian production. The Ministry of Defense reacted after a month of complaints, and investigators told details of a new scandal. The Armed Forces fighters from mid -2024 began to receive 120 mm caliber mines, which were produced by AK "Ukroboronprom" (the company reorganized) at the request of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff.

The military published videos with impressions of Ukrainian -made charges: they complained that they were falling into their hands, missing, not flying out of mortar and so on. It was only after a series of complaints and publications at the Ministry of Defense Media with a meeting on this and made a decision to recall the MIND and additional inspections of the plant that produces them.

At what stage there were problems with shots and how many mines have the Armed Forces at this time, the investigation of Yuri Nikolav for the "Mirror of the Week". The investigative journalist gathered information about the route of Ukrainian mines at the front, at what stage there was a failure in the quality check system, the plans of the Ministry of Defense, past and future, about the situation in which the Fighters of the Armed Forces found themselves.

As it turned out, in 2023 the plant from the sphere of "Ukroboronprom" pledged to put the forces of defense of 300 thousand mines with the prospect of growing production up to 670 thousand. However , and then they went from the commanders. At this time, the party was withdrawn in mines in 100 thousand. Instead, everything that the Armed Forces can expect is 20 thousand mines a month. It will take two to three months to get a new improved batch of domestic charges, it is said in the investigation.

The portal described the Ming Production Procedure, who was involved in it, and showed which stage was problematic. At the beginning, the Armed Forces General Staff reports the Ministry of Defense of the need for shots. After that, the Ministry of Defense informs its unit, defense procurement agencies (AOPs), of the need - about volumes and terms.

Further, the Main Department of Technical Assessment and Quality Control of the MIU's weapons and military equipment checks the plant, which can fulfill the order of the General Staff. Then representatives of this management sit at the factory and monitor the quality of the products. In the end, the charges fall on the front and the fighters begin to use them. 120 mm caliber mines were in the Armed Forces in June 2024 and then the first videos with problems showed, the article is said.

Yuriy Butusov wrote about the same about the same. In the fall of 2024, the out -of -the -field commanders began to advertise for defective mines and only at the end of November they were finally recalled, the investigators wrote. Journalists learned about meetings in the Ministry of Defense on the issue of mines. On one of them, which took place in early 2024, the inspectors of the Main Directorate mentioned problems with the M-12 blasts.

Then these problems disappeared from reports, but they began to report on the possibility of increasing production. However, on November 21, 2024, another meeting was held, which finally spoke about problems. Among them is the insufficient quality of inspection of the mines, the use of B-429 blasts (arrived on a residual principle) and the lack of M-12, non-rush and defects, not known the origin of gunpowder and its compliance with standards.

In the investigation, they summarized that troubles with mines for the Armed Forces could appear due to the fact that the employees of the Ministry of Defense did not talk about the poor quality of products produced by JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry" (former "Ukrobronprom", director Herman Smetanin by September 2024) . This was not known in the Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine, headed by Alexander Kamyshin (this institution is subordinated to defense factories).

"AOZ has to get imported mines from the ground (probably for more money, because foreign suppliers already know that Ukraine has no alternative in Ukraine)," the Mirror of the Week wrote. It should be noted that in February 2023, Ukroboronprom showed mines of 120 mm caliber, which were produced in conjunction with the NATO member country. On the Facebook page of the company wrote that they should fly 7-8 km away and hit the hostile infantry within 20-60 m, maximum-up to 240 m.
