Kolisnyk announced this on the air of the telethon on November 10. "This attack has become one of the most technologically complex. Russia uses intelligence data to strike precisely at key elements of the technological scheme of the energy system," the deputy minister emphasized. The most difficult situation is in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions, where there is a shortage of electricity transmission due to damage to high-voltage lines. Schedules also operate in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kyiv regions and in the capital.

Energy experts are constantly reviewing graphs to optimize them, but this is impossible without rational light consumption. Kolisnyk called on businesses to more actively use electricity imports to avoid restrictions. Separately, he drew attention to the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces on the substations that provide power to the Khmelnytsky and Rivne NPPs. "This is not the first targeted attack on key high-voltage lines.

Their damage forces the nuclear power plant to temporarily reduce production in order to avoid the risks of emergency situations and cascading blackouts in the system," the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy emphasized. He added that the Ministry is in constant contact with the IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and asked the Agency to urgently convene the Board of Governors.

The goal is to create mechanisms to prevent attacks on critical infrastructure and increase international pressure on nuclear and radiation safety. We will remind, according to the mass media, it will take weeks to restore energy facilities damaged as a result of the unprecedented shelling of Ukraine, and with the onset of frost, outages may increase.
