We work as much as possible to get Ukraine the opportunity to fully respond to Russian terror - Presidential appeal

Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainians! Now in Kharkiv there is still an analysis of the rubble at the site of the Russian aircraft. Four managed airbags hit the city - it is a completely calculated terror. One of the bombs destroyed a dwelling house in the central part of the city, near the bus station. As of now, more than 40 wounded and injured in the city is known. Everyone is provided with the necessary help. Three people in Kharkiv died from today's blows. My condolences to my family and loved ones.

The rescue operation is complex - there was a collapse of structures of the house. But rescuers of the SES of Ukraine, local services, all those involved, do everything to help people as much as possible. And as much as possible, we work to obtain the opportunity to fully respond to such Russian terror.

Only from the beginning of this June, the Russians have used more than 2400 managed airbombs against Ukraine, of which about 700 were against Kharkiv, against our positions, against our cities and communities in Kharkiv region. Such Russian blows are caused by both Donetsk region, and in our other front -line and border regions just daily. Ukraine needs the necessary strength and means to destroy the carriers of these bombs, including Russian combat aviation where it is. This step is needed.

I am grateful to all partners, grateful to America for a strong decision that helped us stabilize the situation in the Kharkiv border - we were able to destroy Russian missile launchers near the border and the accumulation of Russian invaders. Such decisions should be continued. A significant decline in Russian rocket terror against Kharkiv and the region proves that it is absolutely real - to protect our cities and our communities from Russian bombs.

Therefore, modern air defense systems for Ukraine-"Petriots", and accelerate the training of our pilots for the F-16, and, most importantly, sufficient long-range of our weapons is what is really needed. It is necessary to protect life - and exclusively for this purpose. I thank everyone in the world who supports us in this. Russian terror must lose, and it is the interest of anyone who wants to live in a world without war, which terrorists always spread - always when they do not lose.

And today I heard the report of the head of Syrsky and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umerov on the provision of our forces, supply from partners. The head and the minister also reported their contacts with partners and our expectations. We are grateful for the approved packages, but we need them completely and on the battlefield - without delay. And that all that we agreed with President Biden was realized.

I also want to mention the rescuers of the SES of Ukraine - the whole team of service, everyone and everyone who works to save as much lives of our people. In all regions, in every city. Thank you!
