Moscow accuses Ukrainians in the IL-76 plane crash in the Belgorod region. Investigators assure that the names of people who launched Patriot missiles will be named. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation summarized the Russian investigation into the fall of the IL-76 military transport aircraft, which took place in the winter of 2024.

The Kremlin officially accused Ukraine of an emergency and claims that there were 65 Ukrainian prisoners on board, accompanied by three police officers. The statement of the UK of Russia was posted on June 25 on the website of the department. The Russians stated that they have a maximum of evidence found at the scene of IL-76.

On the field near the village of Yablunov in the Korochansky district of Belgorod region, the fragments of the aircraft were collected and, as assured, fragments of the MIM-104 missile Patriot. The traces of the hit of this rocket seemed to be found on 116 debris. The statement of the UK of Russia describes events that took place at an altitude of 4 thousand m during the landing of the transporter. According to him, there were no bodies on the field, so it is doubtful that the version of the Russians is true. In addition, the issue raises too small number of accompanying people - three people per 65 prisoners. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense Ministry representative Andriy Yusov stated that the status of prisoners who could be on the aircraft did not change - they are not considered dead.
