These imaginary elections provide for the election of representatives of local councils and approval of heads of the region. However, similarly fictitious pseudo -referendum, locals show indifference to this process and ignore it. Therefore, the Russian organizers are forced to stretch the fictitious elections for three days, in an attempt to mask the low turnout of voters at polling stations.
The occupying power is also preparing for the so -called "elections" at the place of residence for a similar purpose - an attempt to create the visibility of the legitimacy of the process. It is especially worth noting that the occupation forces from Russia have presented a new initiative called the "mobile voter", which is likely to allow every local resident to apply to the place of residence.
Currently, Russians are automatically adding villagers to the system, regardless of their applications for the desire to vote to increase the turnout and the number of votes. We will remind, the invaders adopted special rules for residents of captured regions of Ukraine. In particular, people were allowed to vote in "elections" according to Ukrainian documents.
