No one wants to buy electronics of the Russian Federation according to the USSR standards: the Russians decided to change everything

The transition to international standards, according to experts, will take 5 years. During this time, the Russian technosector hopes to overcome the lag and increase competitiveness. The Russian Federation has announced the development of a new system of standards for the technological sector, which has worked to date according to the criteria of the USSR. Now the criteria of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) will be taken as the basis, the Vedomosti writes.

Russian officials believe that these measures will help to improve the situation with exporting Russian electronics to other countries. The publication emphasizes that the new standards will be ready this year, their development is engaged in the Ministry of Pumperclasses, Rosstandart, the All-Russian Research Institute of Radio Electronics and representatives of manufacturers. Many countries have been reported to have switched to IEC standards for a long time.

For this reason, they reluctantly buy Russian electronics, which does not meet these standards. The Russian Federation believes that compliance with the IEC criteria will help Russian chips and other accessories compete with foreign companies. The media emphasizes that to this day, electronics in the Russian Federation was produced in accordance with the Soviet guests of the 1980s. But IEC standards are regularly updated taking into account the latest technologies and market requirements.

However, the transition to international standards will in no way solve the problem of improving quality and reliability. This conclusion was made by the rector of the Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Rossastandart Alexander Zhagikin, who participates in the work on the new documentation. The transition to international standards, according to experts, will take 5 years.
