Every second Russian actively monitors the situation in Ukraine, and 76% of respondents support the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in our country. The number of supporters of peace talks in Russia compared to August 2024 continues to grow slowly. This is evidenced by the data of the poll, which was conducted in the Russian Federation "Levada-Center".

It is noted that the Russians continue to monitor the events in Ukraine - 52% of respondents said that they "watch carefully" and "very carefully". A third of the respondents (32%) monitors without much attention, 15% do not watch at all. Men - 56% of those polled are most aware of Ukrainian events. Women (50% - "without much attention" or "do not watch"), youth under 24 years (68%) are less closely monitored.

The level of support of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine does not change significantly and remains high - 76% (45% - undoubtedly support, 31% - support). They do not support - 15% of the respondents (7% do not support, 8% - rather do not support). Above the level of support of the actions of the Russian military among men (82%).

Below are the level of support among women (72%), young people under 24 years (67%), residents of cities with a population of more than 500 thousand people (72%), those who believe that cases in the country are going wrong (46%). After reducing the proportion of supporters of peace negotiations against the background of the seizure of the Armed Forces of the Kursk region, their number gradually increases - to 55%.

The proportion of supporters of the continuation of the fighting is reduced - up to 36%. Most often they say that peace negotiations, women (61%) should be started now. Most often they say that there should now continue hostilities, men (45%).
