It should be considered by the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, after which the decision on the document will be made in the VRU session hall.
According to the initiator of the document, the People's Deputy of Ukraine from the political party "Voice", the secretary of the said committee Roman Kostenko in a comment to "Ukrainian Pravda", since the beginning of a full -scale invasion, a large number of citizens of 60 and more years with experience in various areas have expressed a desire to join Ukraine. However, the Ukrainian legislation has restrictions on the military service of this category of citizens who will remove the bill.
According to the document during the martial law, with the written consent of the commander of the military unit, citizens of 60 years of age, which are recognized as suitable for the military-medical commission, may be admitted to the contract of contract. They will be able to occupy the non -rated positions of ordinary, sergeant or officers, as well as a junior or senior officers, provided that they were dismissed from service after January 1, 2015.
The contract will act for military personnel 60+ for one year. After its completion, the bill provides for the possibility of concluding new ones. Officers of the relevant age must be approved by the General Staff of the Armed Forces. In addition, a contract for this category of citizens is tested for two months. If the military has not passed the probationary term, the contract is broken.
