Old SUV LUAZ turned into a military electric car with Jaguar motor (video)

Instead of a gasoline engine under the hood of Luaz-969, there is now a jaguar power plant. The SUV can travel 200 km without recharging. Kharkiv showed a very unusual Luaz-969 "Volyn". The Ukrainian SUV became an electric vehicle, and also created it for the Armed Forces. Video with unusual cars was posted by Kharkiv News. The developers said that their purpose was to create a quiet car for intelligence, which allows to carry out combat tasks.

LuAZ-969 in 1972 was chosen because it has a good patency. Instead of a gasoline engine under the hood "Luaz" is now standing electric motor Jaguar. It was probably borrowed from the I-Pace crossover, because it is currently the only electrical model of the British brand. The small battery provides a stroke of about 200 km. This is enough to perform combat missions. The Ukrainian electric car was handed over to the defenders of Ukraine together with other equipment - ambulance, pickups and SUVs.
