"Let's start with the Crimean Bridge": The expert called the starting point of the Armed Forces (video)

According to Colonel Roman Svitan's reserve, due to damage to the structure, the Russians will not be able to transfer heavy equipment to the peninsula, and the defense forces will get access to the Azov coast. The sign of the beginning of the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be the destruction of the Crimean bridge, which is the main artery of supply of weapons. This was announced by military expert Roman Svitan on UNIAN.

"We were sitting and waiting for them (Crimean bridge - ed. ) To be redeveloped specifically. Based on the dislocation of troops and the most optimal development of events in the offensive, the best option to start an offensive on the destruction of the Crimean bridge. It should be the beginning, so that the main types of weapons and military ammunition will go through the Crimean bridge, "he said.

Also, according to the expert, through Crimea, Russians can fly to Melitopol and deliver military ammunition. "After the Crimean bridge is destroyed, you can start traffic on the Azov coast," Roman Svitan summarized. During an interview with foreign journalists on April 29, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not reveal details, but confirmed that the Armed Forces really planned a counterattack and the return of Crimea.

Despite his hope, he warned that the war can last for years or even decades. "Other countries are cheaper to support Ukraine now than to increase the risks of the Third World War," he said. The full -scale war of Russia with Ukraine cannot end in the same way as the Second World War ended for Finland, says the Ukrainian leader. "Finland not only gave way to Russia, but also lost many lives. I believe that such an opportunity cannot be given," he said.

Recall that on April 27, the former US Army Commander in Europe Mark Hertling wrote on Twitter that the Armed Forces will be able to win a large part of the occupied territories during the expected spring counter -offensive. He also suggested that the future counter -offensive would not end the war in Ukraine.
