Salted torture "Dr. Evil": sailor of the 36th OMP lost the gift of language in Russian captivity (video)

Yuriy Gulchuk was captured in April 2022, his mother Milan Kompaniets told reporters. There was very little information about his son, but one day his "singers", who were exchanged, told about torture from the Russians. 22-year-old Ukrainian Yuri Gulchuk, who returned from captivity during the extreme exchange, lost the gift of language and emotions through torture from the Russians. His mother Milan Kompaniets told about it in a comment to the Media Initiative.

Yuri Gulchuk is a sailor of the 36th separate Marine Corps. In civil life, he studied at the Faculty of Chinese Philology, but in the fall of 2021, in the second year, he decided to go to the army, choosing a direction. His dream was a service in Nikolaev, by the sea, so he liked everything. "The army is the best thing that happened in my life," Yuri Gulchuk said.

In a few months, a full -scale war began and everything changed dramatically, because within six months the fighter got to the epicenter of hostilities. On April 12, 2022, Russian invaders captured him at the Illich plant in Mariupol. He was only 20 years old at the time. It became a real tragedy for Milan, because for the first time she did not know if her baby is alive.

In January 2024, during the exchange of prisoners, Ukrainian defenders were released who were with Yuri Gulchuk in one camera, and then the mother appeared at least some information about her son, but she was not sure that she would like to know it. The fact is that Yuri was particularly cruel to the guard, whom they called "Dr. Evil". The Russians beat the captive Ukrainian with an electric supply with special cruelty, because he did not respond to torture.

It did not like the tormentor, so he used extra power. "What he is not talking now is no longer self -defense. The boys tried to talk to him, but he could not say the words. I do not know if he had a speech center broken, or something with his mouth or throat muscles," - She told the mother of a captive Ukrainian. On September 14, 2024, Yuri Gulchuk was exchanged, but the situation did not improve.

On the video published on the network you can see that he has no emotions on his face and he is silent until his mother hugs and rejoices because after 2 and a half years the son is again at home. We will remind, on September 13, it was reported that during the 56th exchange of prisoners it was possible to return home the Marines of the 501st Battalion of the 36th Brigade, which was captured by the Russians in April 2022.
