According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, all emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and began to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Information about possible victims is clarified. According to the chief of Sumy Ova Oleg Grigorov, the fire covered a large area.

According to him, rescuers work in enhanced mode to prevent the flame. According to Vitaliy Deynichenko, the head of the Municipal Security Department, as a result of the impact, the fire arose in the central market of the city. About 20 tents are damaged, more than 20 windows are broken. Also damaged school and three non -residential premises, Vitaliy Deynichenko added.

Recall that in recent weeks, Russian troops have intensified shelling of settlements of Sumy region, striking both in the border territories and in civilian sites in the depths of the region.
